CV

It was already during my bachelor studies, when I got fascinated by a magnetic resonance imaging, in the beginnings mostly by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

For my Master Thesis, I was working on improving the reliability of Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping using Echo Planar Imaging. During this project, I had an opportunity to get familiar with a programming of MR image reconstructions and I have implemented a Virtual Receiver Coil (VRC) phase combination approach into the Siemens Image Reconstruction Environment (ICE), that allowed us to obtain high-quality combined EPI phase images directly on a 7T MR scanner.

The research activity of my ongoing PhD studies is focused on a development of new MR techniques for water-fat imaging. I truly enjoy this project because of its complexity; it includes sequence designing in Siemens Integrated Development Environment for Application (IDEA), its testing on the MR scanner and also image post-processing in MATLAB.
